Polymer clay is a plastic, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) base man made clay, which makes it very durable and lightweight.  To keep your polymer clay earrings in the best condition possible, avoid swimming and sleeping in your earrings. Store earrings in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.  If makeup should transfer onto earrings, you can lightly wash with mild soap and water, or use a soft cloth to wipe away.
